Ringing the new year a bit late (sorry!) since I’ve been moving apartments. But wanted to take a quick look at the teeniest of bags – wallet on chains! This week I realized my friend, A, had the EXACT same mini bag as me.
Bag Watch: I literally have the same bag…why have I never seen you wear yours!?
A: Hahaha, I literally never use it except for when I need to run errands! I just ran out of the door with it today since I only needed a few things on me. It’s TINY.
BW: I use mine when I’m traveling, usually as an easy evening bag or for when we’re going out for a quick bite to eat. I agree though, it’s really small.
A: At least my bag is black! It makes it just a bit more more versatile. I honestly don’t know what else I’d use it for other than a quick errand bag.
BW: Do you have any other wallet-on-chains bags? Do you find the other ones to be more useful?
A: I personally only own one other mini bag, but its more of a traditional box crossbody than a wallet-on-chain. I just need something that holds more! There are some really cute ones, like the quilted clutch/crossbodies from Saint Laurent, that I would use more, mainly because they are bigger and can be converted into a clutch as well.
BW: Yes! Agreed. Although I would worry about the wear and tear on those luxury bags. I feel like I can just chuck this one into my luggage and not worry about it – since it’s made of saffiano leather and was pretty cheap.
A: Yeah, but I feel like my other Kate Spade bags were more worth the money. I definitely use them a lot more than this one. This one literally only holds three of my cards, one chapstick, and keys. Honestly this may be my least worn bag of all time!
The Kate Spade Cedar Street Monday crossbody bag is sold out across all major retailers. You can purchase a pre-loved version here (red, $58), here (Celeste Blue, $46), or new from third-party sellers here (Geranium, $164).
